What image formats can I use as frames?

You can use JPG, PNG, WebP, SVG, and other common image formats as frames.

Why does my GIF look pixelated or washed out?

GIF uses a 256-color palette per frame, which limits color accuracy. For best results, use images with fewer distinct colors. Photos with gradients tend to look worse in GIF format.

How do I make the GIF loop only once?

In the Loop setting, select '1 time' instead of 'Infinite'. The GIF will play through once and then stop.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. All processing is done locally in your browser using the gifenc library. Your images never leave your device.
